Dunno if you know this, but The Curmudgeon is from the UK. I'm unaware how popular this abomonation is over in the US, but over here the Crazy Frog is popular with The Scum like you wouldn't believe.
Who are The Scum? Oh, you know - the bandwagon jumping, mindless drones that only like things that are popular, that have only ever heard of a band if they've had a number one record, only heard of the biggest movies. They don't look for different, edgy or non-mainstream entertainment - they want unchallenging slop put on their lap.
